I’m a proud plant parent to all 10 of these plants and from experience I can say that these plants have been very easy to care for.

1. Peace Lily

Peace Lilies are by far one of the easiest plants to look after. I currently have four of them, and they are all looking very healthy! The good thing with Peace Lilies is that they will tell you when they need more water. Their leaves will droop down when they’re thirsty and lift back up when they’re happy. Water your Peace Lily at least once a week, if it’s in a sunnier spot then water more regularly. Making sure the top of the soil doesn’t dry out.

2. Fiddle Leaf Fig

I have had my Fiddle Leaf Fig for nearly two years and they are one of the easiest house plants to care for. I water my Fiddle Leaf Fig about once a week when the top of the soil starts to becomes slightly dry. If you notice brown spots on your leaves if or your leaves start to drop, then this is a sign that it is being over watered. Remember to rotate your Fiddle Leaf Fig otherwise it might start to lean towards to sun.

3. Monstera

Monstera, also known as The Swiss Cheese plant is an easy house plant to care for, as long as it is kept moist and placed in a warm position. I water my Monstera once a week when the soil has started to dry out. To keep your Monstera happy, keep it in a warm position with bright indirect light and wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust.

4. String of Hearts

String of Hearts not only look beautiful but they are also very easy to care for. String of Hearts is a type of succulent, which means it stores water in it’s leaves, so if you’re not sure if you should water it, it’s best to let it dry out between watering. They prefer bright indirect light, so place near to a window but not directly in front of it. I have my hanging on a shelf near to a low light window.

5. Prayer plant

Prayer Plants are another easy house plant to look after, I’ve had mine for over a year now and I’ve never experienced any problems. Prayer Plants prefer to be kept in bright indirect sunlight, I have mine on a shelf near a bright window. They should be kept moist, but not soggy, I water mine about once a week. To keep it looking healthy, you should also wipe the leaves occasionally to remove any dust.

6. Pilea

The Pilea plant, also known as the Missionary Plant or Pass-It-On-Plant is another easy house plant to look after. Similar to a Peace lily, the Pilea’s leaves will droop if the plant needs to be watered. I water my Pilea once a week when the soil has begun to dry out.

7. Spider Plant

Spider Plants are another easy house plant to care for. Make sure you keep them well watered, I usually water mine a couple of times a week, and less than this in winter. They prefer bright indirect light, I have mine hanging in the middle of a bright room. Spider Plants can tolerate some shade, however this will slow it’s growth rate.

8. Satin Pothos

Not only does the Satin Pothos make a beautiful hanging or trailing plant, but it’s also an easy house plant to care for. I water my Satin Pothos about once a week and currently have it hanging in our bright hallway, so it receives bright indirect sunlight. Too much water will kill this plant, so make sure you don’t over-water it.

9. Snake Plant

Snake Plants are easy to care for house plants as they don’t need a lot of water and can be left alone for weeks. You’re more likely to kill a snake plant by over watering it rather than not watering it enough. I water my snake plant every 3 weeks or so, and allow the water to completely drain through before putting the plant back into the planter.

10. String of pearls

String of Pearls is a type of succulent and stores water in it’s leaves, which makes them easy to look after as they are very drought tolerant.
